Booking and confirmation

Throughout the year, bookings made online or over the telephone on flexible rates require a credit card guarantee to secure the booking.  In the event you need to cancel, we operate a 48-hour cancellation policy and notification is required in writing.  If you cancel your booking up to 48 hours before check in there is no charge. 48 hours prior to the date of arrival the value equivalent to the first night’s stay will be charged to the card and deducted from the final amount payable.  As the cancellation window will have closed, this amount is non-refundable.   In the event of a non-arrival and no notification, we reserve the right to recover the full amount owing for the accommodation. 

Please contact reception for group cancellation policies as they differ from the above.

 

Advance purchase, special offers and sales

All advance purchase rates, special offers and sale tariffs require full payment in advance which is non-refundable.

 

Special tariffs

Special packages are available for Christmas and New Year.  Packages require a deposit of £100 per person, which is fully refundable up to 4 weeks before the date of arrival.

 

Corporate rates

A special tariff to include breakfast and account facilities is available for regular mid-week guests.  Please ask the reservations team for more details.

 

Discount Codes

Discount Codes are subject to availability and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers. We reserve the right to amend or withdraw offers at any-time.

 

Extra guests in rooms

Room prices are based on two adults sharing.  There is a charge for additional adults and children.  Please ask the reservations team if you require a travel cot or z-bed.

 

Check in and check out

Check in is at 3:00pm on the day of arrival and we ask that on your day of departure you vacate your room by 11:00am. If you arrive before 3:00pm then we will take your luggage and you may park your car in the car park.

 

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted in the building.  There will be a £60.00 penalty for non-compliance.

 

Pets

We accept well-behaved dogs in a selection of the bedrooms for a small additional charge.  We reserve the right to charge for any damages.  Dogs are also permitted in both our bars.

 

Liability of the guest

Guests are liable for and shall indemnify the hotel for any acts or omissions by the guest (whether or not intentional) which results in damage to the hotel, including but not limited to, damage caused as a result of negligence, deliberate damage or recklessness (and the hotel will use its reasonable endeavours to rectify any damage internally prior to contracting specialists to make the repairs in order to minimise any costs incurred by the guest).

The guest is liable for the cost of replacing any items which the guest removes from the premises without the hotels consent.  In the event that the hotel becomes aware of damage to property or loss of possessions after the guest has departed, the hotel reserves the right to make a charge to the guests credit/debit card, or send an invoice for the relevant amount to the guest which shall be payable within 15 days of the date of invoice.

 

Standards of Behaviour

Guests must adhere to policies and procedures implemented by the hotel, including, but not limited to, health and safety and security procedures.

Guests must not bring illegal or hazardous substances into the hotel.

Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

The management have the right to refuse to serve and/or require a guest to leave the premises when the hotel believes the guest to be behaving in an unacceptable manner.  The hotel shall not be liable to pay any compensation or make any refund to a guest in these circumstances.

Should the guest accept the offer of the hotel to provide the services, the guest and hotel should be bound by these conditions of the mutual promises and undertakings which are contained within these conditions.  Payment of any deposits in respect of the services and/or signature by the guest of the hotels registration card, shall constitute the guests unqualified acceptance of the services subject to these conditions.
